Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Trader to join our dynamic trading team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executing trading strategies on-chain, with a deep understanding of decentralized finance mechanisms and blockchain-based trading opportunities. This role demands a strong analytical mindset, hands-on experience in on-chain environments, and the ability to develop and implement sophisticated trading algorithms that align with our market-neutral approach.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize trading strategies for on-chain environments, focusing on high-frequency and market-neutral approaches.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trading opportunities, leveraging data from blockchain networks and decentralized exchanges.
• Build and refine trading algorithms, incorporating real-time data feeds, smart contract interactions, and automated execution protocols.
• Implement robust risk management techniques to ensure strategies align with the firm’s risk tolerance and market conditions.
• Continuously monitor strategy performance, adjusting and enhancing algorithms to maintain a competitive edge and maximize returns.
• Work closely with other traders, developers, and data scientists to enhance trading models, share insights, and drive collective success.

Job Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in running trading strategies on-chain, with a solid understanding of DeFi protocols, market making, and on-chain liquidity - work done both in a professional and/or personal capacity will be considered.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Solidity, or other relevant languages used in blockchain trading. Familiarity with smart contract development and decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology, consensus mechanisms, and the functionality of various DeFi platforms and protocols.
• Experience with blockchain data tools, trading platforms, and analytical software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and exploiting trading opportunities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, contributing to the firm’s overall strategy and success.
